WHAT DOES THE NAME NAYAVITA MEAN?

The name NAYAVITA was created by combining two words. “Naya” means new in Hindi, and “vita” comes from Latin and means life.

For us, NAYAVITA represents a new beginning and transformation — an approach that guides how we design our products and think about their functionality, design, and materials.

WHAT ARE NAYAVITA TOWELS MADE OF?

Selected NAYAVITA towels and hand towels are made from a combination of recycled polyester (rPET) and polyamide. The typical composition is 80% rPET polyester and 20% polyamide, with the exact material composition always specified for each individual product.

The rPET polyester used is produced from recycled PET bottles, which are processed into polyester microfibers.

HOW MANY PLASTIC BOTTLES ARE USED FOR ONE TOWEL?

The approximate number of PET bottles used varies depending on the size of the product:

• • large beach towel (approx. 160 × 80 cm): about 28 PET bottles

  • children’s beach towel (approx. 120 × 60 cm): about 16 PET bottles

  • sports towel (approx. 100 × 50 cm): about 12 PET bottles

The stated values are indicative and may vary depending on the specific production batch and material weight.

HOW IS A TOWEL MADE FROM PLASTIC?

Recycled PET bottles are mechanically processed into a raw material, which is then used to produce polyester microfiber commonly used in textile manufacturing.

 

 

 

WHAT PROPERTIES DO NAYAVITA TOWELS HAVE?

The combination of the microfiber used, the waffle structure, and the weaving method gives the towels properties such as low weight, good absorbency, fast drying, and compactness.

Specific properties may vary depending on the type and size of the product and are always stated in the individual product detail.

ARE NAYAVITA TOWELS ONLY SUITABLE FOR SUMMER USE?

NAYAVITA towels are designed to be lightweight and compact, making them suitable not only for use at the water but also for travel, sports, and other leisure activities.

WHAT PACKING MATERIALS DO YOU USE?

For packaging NAYAVITA and NAYAVITA YOGA products, we use a combination of paper, plastic, and starch-based packaging materials, the purpose of which is to protect the product and provide mandatory information during storage and transport.

Each towel is fitted with an information strip made of kraft paper containing required and additional information.

To protect the product during handling and transport, we use inner packaging made of recycled plastic or starch-based material, which helps protect the textile from contamination.

WHY DO YOU USE PLASTIC PACKAGING?

Inner packaging is used exclusively to protect the product during storage and transport. Depending on the product type and material availability, we use:

• • packaging made from recycled plastic, or

  • starch-based packaging, which is intended to break down under specific conditions.

These materials help protect textile products from dust, moisture, and other contamination that could affect their condition upon delivery to the customer.

WHY DO YOU USE MAINLY KRAFT PAPER FOR PACKAGING?

Kraft paper is primarily used as an informational and protective packaging material. It is a commonly used, unbleached paper that is suitable for further recycling within standard waste-sorting systems.

WOULD DECORATIVE GIFT BOXES BE MORE IN LINE WITH PREMIUM BRAND LIKE NAYAVITA?

When selecting packaging materials, we prioritize simple and functional packaging that serves the purpose of protecting the product during transport.
Decorative packaging is not a standard part of our packaging, as packaging is generally intended for single-use.

Gift packaging can be arranged separately depending on the specific occasion and individual customer preferences.
