WHAT DOES THE NAME NAYAVITA MEAN?
The name NAYAVITA was created by combining two words. “Naya” means new in Hindi, and “vita” comes from Latin and means life.
For us, NAYAVITA represents a new beginning and transformation — an approach that guides how we design our products and think about their functionality, design, and materials.
WHAT PRODUCTS DOES NAYAVITA OFFER?
The NAYAVITA brand originally started with beach and travel towels designed for use near water and outdoors. Over time, the range was expanded to include products intended for yoga, exercising and relaxation, such as yoga mats, props and selected accessories.
NAYAVITA YOGA includes products made from different materials. The specific material composition and properties are always stated in the detail of each individual product.
WHAT ARE NAYAVITA YOGA PRODUCTS MADE OF?
NAYAVITA YOGA products are made from various materials, including recycled and natural materials, depending on the type of product.
Materials used may include recycled polyester (rPET), cork, natural rubber, and synthetic materials commonly used in sports and children’s products, such as EVA foam.
The exact material composition, origin of materials, and product properties are always specified in the detail of the individual product.
HOW MANY PLASTIC BOTTLES ARE APPROXIMATELY USED FOR ONE YOGA MAT?
For selected NAYAVITA YOGA mats made from recycled materials, approximately 15 PET bottles may be used.
This number is indicative and may vary depending on the size, thickness, and specific production batch of the product.
HOW IS A YOGA MAT MADE FROM PLASTIC?
Recycled PET bottles can be mechanically processed into a raw material, which is then used to produce polyester microfiber commonly used in the textile industry.

WHAT PACKAGING MATERIALS DO YOU USE?
For packaging NAYAVITA and NAYAVITA YOGA products, we use a combination of paper, plastic, starch-based, and other protective packaging materials. Their purpose is to protect the product during storage and transport and to provide mandatory information.
Yoga mats and accessories may be packaged with:
- an inner wrap made of plastic, including recycled plastic, or starch-based material, used to protect the product from contamination,
- an informational paper strip or leaflet containing mandatory and supplementary information.
For fragile products, such as ceramic coasters or bottles, we use additional protective packaging, including bubble wrap. Packing fillers such as wood wool or similar protective materials may also be used, depending on the nature of the specific product.
For delivery to customers, we use paper envelopes or boxes. All shipping and filling materials may be reused, recycled, or new, depending on the current availability of packaging materials.
WHY DO YOU USE PLASTICS FOR PACKAGING?
Inner packaging is used exclusively to protect the product during storage and transport.
Depending on the product type and material availability, we use:
- plastic packaging, including recycled plastic,
- or starch-based packaging intended to break down under specific conditions.
The choice of packaging type is always based on the need to ensure safe delivery of the product in appropriate condition.
WHY DO YOU MAINLY USE KRAFT PAPER FOR PACKAGING?
Kraft paper is primarily used as an informational and protective packaging material. It is a commonly used, unbleached paper that is suitable for further recycling within standard waste-sorting systems.
WOULD DECORATIVE GIFT BOXES BE MORE IN LINE WITH THE PREMIUM NAYAVITA YOGA BRAND?
When selecting packaging materials, we prioritize simple and functional packaging that serves the purpose of protecting the product during transport.
Decorative packaging is not a standard part of our packaging, as packaging is generally intended for single-use. Gift packaging can be arranged separately depending on the specific occasion and individual customer preferences.
DO YOU PLAN CHANGES IN THE AREA OF PACKAGING?
Packaging materials and packing methods are continuously reviewed and adjusted based on operational and logistical considerations.
