Sakura, or cherry blossoms, are an integral part of Japanese culture. Their blossoming symbolizes spring and renewal, just as their short life symbolizes the transient nature of life. After reaching full bloom, you have around two weeks to admire the spectacle before they start to wither.
The sakura season in Japan is a time of celebration and joy with friends and family, called hanami. Hanami literally means ‘watching of the blossoms’. People gather under the ethereal canopies of blossoming cherries, talk, barbecue, feast, drink and celebrate the promise of new beginnings. A tradition that dates back more than a thousand years.

Before first use, wipe down with a clean damp cloth to remove any residue cork dust.Store in a dry place. To clean, wipe with a clean damp cloth and leave out to dry. You can add a drop of mild detergent to particularly stubborn stains.

Nejprve jsem se zamilovala do toho motivu, a když jsem si bloček vyzkoušela se svojí novou podložkou, tak musím říct, že je přesně do ruky, ty hrany neřežou jak jsou zaoblené a blok je i hezky těžký což napovídá, že uprostřed není schovaná pěna, jak to občas bývá
