When burning Palo Santo or incense bundles, simply rest the glowing tip on the raised bridge so that ash falls cleanly onto the tray. No need for a layer of salt or sand. The ash is contained directly on the ceramic surface. The integrated hole for incense sticks is placed so ash falls into the tray, not onto surrounding surfaces, reducing mess and protecting your furniture.

HOW TO USE THE CERAMIC INCENSE TRAY:
- Rest the burning tip of your Palo Santo or smudge bundle on the raised bridge.
- Insert an incense stick into the hole at the longer end of the tray.
- For cones or loose incense, first add a thin bed of salt or fine sand, then place your incense on top.
- Never leave burning incense unattended or within reach of children or pets.
- Once cooled, empty the ash and wipe the tray clean.
